SRL-Z
series mixing unit is mainly used for batching, mixing, coloring and
drying resins such as PE, PP and PVC, etc. It also can be used for
drying and devolatilization of engineering plastics such as ABS, PC,
etc. before processing and mixing phenolic resin.
This unit
combines hot mixing and cold mixing. After hot mixing the material will
be cooled down during cold mixing so as to exhaust residual gas and
avoid caking.

Main structure
The
mixer consists of machine rack, driving unit, mixing drum, lifting
device, material discharging unit and electric control box. The whole
machine adopts reasonable and beautiful closed-type structure.
Driving
unit: the agitating blade is made by stainless steel through special
processing so it is wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant. The main
shaft is of fine workmanship through finish turning & grinding,
quenching & tempering. There are three seals to avoid leakage:
tetrafluoroethylene, gas and skeleton type oil seal.
The mixing
drum has multiple layers: inner, outer and sandwich layers. The inner
layer is made by stainless steel through welding. Both inner wall and
bottom of the drum are made by stainless steel. The bottom is
circular-arc. Inner surface is very smooth and rigid so it is
wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant, also the material will not
easily stick on the drum. There are heating jacket and resistance
heating coil in the sandwich layer. The drum will be evenly heated
through high ignition point thermal oil in heating jacket. The material
temperature in drum can be controlled by adjusting thermal oil
temperature. The jacket is wrapped with asbestos insulation layer so
hand will not be burnt while touching the outer layer.
The mixer
cover is made by aluminum alloy. Inner face is of fine workmanship
through finish turning and polishing. After being lifted by cylinder, it
can vertically rotate and horizontally clockwise rotate (rotate 70℃).
There is a hole opened on the cover for adding resin, plasticizer and
stabilizer. Also there is a hole for exhausting gas. Customers can
arrange according to production. The force should not be too large while
rotating the cover so as to avoid hitting the drum wall. The mixer
cover is fixed with protection cover, otherwise if the cover is not
closed, operators may be hurt by the agitating blade.
The discharging device is made by aluminum alloy. It is fixed with pneumatic discharging door to automatically discharge material. Cylinder and discharging door is well connected resulted in reliable compression and good sealing property.
